For an original cinema experience at home, a sophisticated system of perfectly matched components is essential. Our new home cinema systems are carefully coordinated to reproduce every nuance precisely as the director intended.

DCS-585: Versatile system that can be set up in minutes.

Versatile home entertainment

MP3 Encorder: CD to USB rippingAs multimedia entertainment comes in all shapes and sizes, our home cinema systems are designed to support the newest and most widespread formats.

The DCS 590, DCS-585 and DCS-FS30 are capable of playing back entire DVD and music collections, including DivX movies. An easily accessible front USB port enables ripping CDs directly to MP3 files on a USB memory device at up to 320 KB per second.

To make sure nothing gets lost in transmission, the new systems feature a HDMI interface, guaranteeing lossless transfer of highly detailed digital audio and video signals through a single cable. Advanced upscaling adds a new dimension to DVDs by elevating sharpness, colour and contrast to create 1080p levels of detail.

A rich auditory experience

MCACC AdvancedOur dedication to sound excellence is clearly reflected in the new line-up. To provide a rich soundscape, all models are equipped with a high power amplifier and internal Dolby Digital and DTS audio decoders.

The DCS-590 and DCS-585 incorporate a Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration system (MCACC), a sophisticated technology that actively ‘listens’ and creates a soundscape automatically adjusted and optimised to the acoustics of the user’s home entertainment space.

Downloads, recordings, user-generated content – it can all be enjoyed in outstanding sound quality.

The Advanced Sound Retriever function in all three models enhances compressed music formats such as MP3, Windows Media Audio or MPEG-4 AAC (cf. iTunes) and restores these files to their original quality and richness, while Auto Level Control equalises volume level differences between tracks.

Our new home cinema systems offer different speaker combinations to fit any entertainment space. With Front Stage Surround Advance they can create a strikingly real and immersive audio environment without placing the speakers around the room. All speakers can be positioned in front, alongside the TV screen to free up space and eliminate the visual clutter of cables.

Up-to-date connectivity

Focusing on connectivity, all three models include an optical input, which means a games console or set top box can be easily connected to the system’s main unit. What’s more, the new home cinema systems are completely Bluetooth ready. The AS-BT100 optional Bluetooth adapter allows wireless A2DP music streaming from compatible devices, such as a mobile phone or laptop.

For straightforward operation these home cinema systems support the connectivity feature KURO LINK which gives access to the main functions of compatible Pioneer equipment with a single remote control.

Refreshing design

Truly lifting the viewing environment, the DCS-590, DCS-585 and DCS-FS30 feature a polished black finish, adding up to a clean and sophisticated look – with nothing to distract from home entertainment.
